How to Use Ear Candles Safely (Step-by-Step Guide)

How to Use Ear Candles at Home
Follow these step-by-step instructions to support a safe, calming self-care experience.
Materials needed:
- Harmony's Ear Candles
- Paper Plate
- A Cup of Water
- A Match or Lighter
- Cut an “X” shape in the center of a paper plate. Insert the ear candle through the opening so the pointed end faces downward. Keep the burn line visible above the plate..
- Lie on your side with the ear facing upward. Have your partner light the wide end of the candle (never the pointed end). Allow the flame to stabilize for 7–8 seconds before positioning the candle.
- Gently place the pointed end at the opening of the outer ear (do not insert deeply). Your partner should hold the candle upright and remain present the entire time. (Always use a second person.)
- When the candle burns down to the marked burn line, carefully remove it and extinguish it in a cup of water.
Caution: Open flame may cause burns. Always use ear candles with two people present. The assistant should hold the candle upright and monitor the flame at all times. Keep hair, clothing, and flammable materials away from the candle. Discontinue use immediately if discomfort occurs.
