Do Ear Candles work?
What is an Ear Candle?
In a nutshell, a properly constructed ear candle is a hollow candle handcrafted (or made on a machine) with cotton strips (we use certified organic cotton) and use a clean burning wax with a safety tip and a burn line label (this ensures the safety of the user).
Ear candles are intended for healing through relaxation (especially when one is feeling under the ‘weather’) not for removing ear wax. In fact, ear candles do not alter the physical state of your physical body. Instead, the heat and energy from the candle is thought to have an energetic influence within the human body, encouraging healing and homeostasis. This theory of healing with fire is one that has been used for thousands of years in many different cultures around the world. See Harmony's Blog for more info.
